Theodora Stolz, a psychologist, has a Ph.D. from Hofstra
University and is licensed to practice
psychology in New York and New Jersey. She says that in her practice,
she does not present herself to her clients as the typical professional
psychologist, but rather as an equal. "We are two people together, trying
to solve a problem," she says. "This realization is my greatest
achievement; this makes me different."
Theodora Stolz, a psychologist, is a Military OneSource provider,
catering to the needs of American service men and women. Military OneSource,
she explains, is a program of the United States Defense Department that makes
resources and support available to active duty National Guard and Reserve service
members and their families. It is a confidential program that many members of
the military find invaluable.
In addition to the help that she provides, she says that Military
OneSource offers confidential non-medical counseling services online. Eligible
members may also receive it over the telephone, and in person. She says that
personalized support is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week,
no matter where members live or serve.
In addition to being a Military OneSource provider, Theodora Stolz, a
psychologist, is also in the Medical Reserve Corps. She says that the
Medical Reserves, or MRC, is a network of community-based units across the
country that meets public health needs in times of crisis. The MRC is sponsored
by the Office of the Surgeon General of the United States. There are nearly one
thousand MRC units across the country. Volunteers like Theodora Stolz, a
psychologist, include medical and public health professionals, as well as
people who do not have a healthcare background.
